Harriet Tubman
Live!

Saturday, February 23, 10:30 am
Lexington Park Library
Entertaining...educational...and inspiring for all ages!
Travel back in time and meet Harriet Tubman as portrayed by Joyce
Harris. Find out what Tubman endured not only as a slave but as she
helped slaves escape. Hear Michael Eley sing historical Negro
Spirituals and talk about their hidden messages.
Ms. Harris and Mr. Eley mesmerized a record crowd of 250 when they
performed in 2007. We are excited to have them back.
Free family program. Light refreshments served.
Co-sponsored by St. Mary's County Branch of NAACP, Unified Committee
for Afro-American Contributions, and the Minority Outreach Coalition.
