What's New?
- The results of the
recent Website survey are being studied. Your comments and
suggestions will be considered as we redesign our site.
Thank you for completing the survey.
- Director Kathleen
Reif is the 2010 Campaign Chairperson for United Way of St.
Mary's County.
- The libraries are
collection sites for Toys for Tots. Drop off your donations of
new, unwrapped toys at any branch.
- Library Staff were
Passionately Pink for the Cure in October raising $960 for Susan
G. Komen fund in the fight against breast cancer.
- Our children's blog www.kidsblog.net features
350 children's books. Check it out.
- The library's meeting
rooms can now be rented by businesses.
- Our Facebook page has more than 560 fans.

Shop for Groceries--Earn money for library
Sign up for McKay's Community Rewards
program and designate St. Mary's County
Library as your non-profit group. Shop & use your Gold
Card. Your purchases will be credited to us. In May we
will receive a portion of the $60,000 based on the percentage of gold
card purchases made from Oct. 1- April 30. The past 2 years we
have earned more than $2000 each year.
We will register you if you prefer. Fill out a
form at any branch. Please re-register to be sure your
purchases are applied to our account.
