free access to the Foundation Center's two databases: Foundation
Directory Online Professional and Grants to Individuals Online.

Transformation Open House was Grand
Senator
Roy Dyson, Library Board President Alan Dillingham, and Delegate John
Bohanan spoke at Lexington Park's Open House on Sept. 21.
Stop by and experience the new improved children's area at Lexington
Park. Check out the active learning centers, the new Tween area
for students in third to sixth grades, and the enhanced teen
zone.
Delegate Bohanan tested the Whisper Tube
at Lexington Park. Each branch has a whisper tube for kids of all
ages to try.
Charlotte Hall also has added Active Learning
Centers. Due to space limitations,
Leonardtown has only added a whisper tube.

state reading Warren St. John's book, Outcasts United
Outcasts United
is this year's One Maryland On e
Book, the only statewide community read. Outcasts
United is the stunning real-life story of an inspiring group
of refugees and a woman who changes an entire community for the
better, and a small southern town struggling with refugee
resettlement.
Pick up a copy of the book... or download it...read it ... and
discuss it with a neighbor, friends or at one of these book

Card. Your purchases will be credited to us. In May we
will receive a portion of the $60,000 based on the percentage of gold
card purchases made from Oct. 1- April 30. The past 2 years we
have earned more than $2000 each year.
