Stop by any branch and try out one of the new NOOKcolor
eReaders that the library recently purchased to be used in the
branch. See how easy it is to download titles from the library's
eBook collection onto an eReader.
Before
you buy an eReader, check which types of eReaders are compatible with the
library's downloadable eBooks. If you prefer audio books, look
at these audio devices.

day to drop off your donations for Toys for Tots at any branch.
The toys must be new and unwrapped.

St. Mary's County Cemetery Project
needs your help
St. Mary's County Historic Preservation Commission has begun
to record information on cemeteries and grave sites in the county,
particularly those on private property. As the population of
our county grows and land is developed, it is imperative that grave
sites be documented.
You can help by stopping by any branch and viewing the
database the Commission has compiled and providing information on
grave sites not yet included or those listed with incomplete or
inaccurate information.

Shop for Groceries--Earn money for library
Sign up for McKay's Community Rewards
program and designate St. Mary's County
Library as your non-profit group. Shop & use your Gold
Card. Your purchases will be credited to us. In May we
will receive a portion of the $60,000 based on the percentage of gold
card purchases made from Oct. 1- April 30. The past 2 years we
have earned more than $2000 each year.
We will register you if you prefer. Fill out a
form at any branch. Please re-register to be sure your
purchases are applied to our account.
