Library collection named in memory of Midge Cannetti

Dr. King with Board Members

A collection of reference materials at Lexington Park Library has been named "The Midge Cannetti Reference & Grant Seeker Resource Center" in memory of
Margaret "Midge" Cannetti, a librarian at Lexington Park from 1959 to 1984.  This was made possible through the generosity of Dr. Julia King in memory of her late mother-in-law.  A plaque has been placed in the area commemorating Midge. Pictured above (left to right) are Board members Carole Romary, Everlyn Holland, Joan Springer, Dr. Julia King, Alan Dillingham, Dan Buris, Carolyn Guy, and Lynn Newkirk.
