The Ultimate Cheapskate as he was dubbed by Matt Lauer.
Sing and dance
with us to the music of Cantare at our Heritage
Festival on April 25 as we explore
the rich Latin American cultures.
We can't
forget that April is also National Poetry Month. Poets of all
ages are invited to share or listen at a PoetryOpen
Mic on April 22. Randy Bridgeman
whose book was nominated for a Pulitzer award will be reading.
The libraries

Ginjer Clarke on Monday, April 6
This year's BooksAlive! Author
Did you know that meeting an author makes the book and reading come
alive for your young reader?

Bring
them to hear Ginjer Clarke read from her early reader books including
her latest book, Black Out!: Animals that Live in the Dark.
Ms. Clarke specializes in nonfiction books about unusual animals for
kindergarten to grade 4. Her book Platypus received the
2005 Blue Crab Young Reader Award. Book sales and signing
follows each program. Free. All ages.
