Kids, ages 5-12, can pick up an Adventure Passport at any branch any time starting June 1.  The passport lists 10 county sites. After the children visit 5 sites and get their passport stamped at each site, they return to the library for their coupon for free Bruster's ice cream and are entered in a drawing for the grand prize, a copy of Sally Walker's book, Written in Bone. One book will be given away at each branch.  They can earn an extra chance for each additional site visited.  Each site has cool activities for them to  do.  Passports must be returned by August 31 to earn prizes.

Where's Flat Sneaks? Contest
Flat Sneaks, our summer reading mascot, is exploring sites around the county.  He is sending a photo and clues of the sites he visits to The County Times newspaper.  Each week starting June 17 the photo and his clues will appear in the County Times newspaper.  Children ages 5-12 can guess the site for a chance to win a book and have their names published in the paper.  One correct entry will be drawn at each branch each week.
