LIBRARY ASSOCIATE I - FULL TIME POSITION

LEXINGTON PARK LIBRARY

POSITION:           Library Associate I, Full-time

LOCATION:          Lexington Park Library

 

HOURS:               Some nights and week-ends, including Sunday

 

START DATE:       September  

 

GRADE:                Grade 4

 

SALARY:              $33,523 annually with full benefits

 

REQUISITES:         

• Bachelors Degree
• Strong oral, written, analytical, creative and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates flexibility and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of computer operations and Internet information retrieval

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Providing information, programming and circulation services to customers of all ages
• Team member of the Adult Services Department
• Special projects as assigned

Completed application must be submitted, in person, at the Lexington Park Library.   Applications will be accepted ONLY at the following dates and times: Thursday, July 29, 9-11 am; Tuesday, Aug. 3, 5-7 pm; Saturday, Aug. 7, 9-11 am; Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2-4 pm; and Friday, Aug. 13, 2-4 pm. When you present your application you will meet for approximately 5 minutes with a library manager.
