The Science Fair will be January 22 at Leonardtown Library. The snowdate is January 28. 

 

The library is an excellent resource for your Science Fair needs -- whether it is looking for project suggestions to conducting the research. 

 

Don't know where to begin?  Refer to the Science Experiment Sourcebook available at the children's desk.  This binder contains pages of possible science fair projects.  

 

To help you get started on your research don't miss the Open Work Session on Nov. 14 at Leonardtown Library.

Leonardtown Library 

 

Use the library resources including laptop computers to get started on research for your project.

 

Work on your project--table space available.

 

Ask fair organizers questions.

 

Get reference help from librarians.

Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts will present an original play based on Ben Carson's story -his struggle from being raised in inner-city Detroit by a mother with a 3rd grade education to becoming director of pediatric neurosurgery at John Hopkins. 

 

An inspirational story for upper elementary, middle and high school students and adults. FREE.
