July 12: Anna Karenina. Set in late 19th Century Russia high-society, the aristocrat Anna Karenina enters into a life-changing affair with the affluent County Vronsky. Rated R. Winner of the 2013 Oscar for Costume Design.
July 19: Brave. Determined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom. Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse. Rated PG. Winner of 2013 Oscar for Best Animated Film.
July 26: Les Miserables. In 19th-Century France, Jean Valjean, who for decades has been hunted by the ruthless policeman Javert after he breaks parole, agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s daughter, Cosette. The fateful decision changes their lives forever. Rated PG-13. Anne Hathaway won 2013 Oar for Best Actress.
August 2: Argo. A dramatization of the 1980 joint CIA_Canadian secret operation to extract sic fugitive American diplomatic personnel our of revolutionary Iran. Rated R. Winner of 2013 Oscar for Best Picture.
