Celebrate 375! Adventure Passport

 

Kids, ages 5-12!  Pick up an Adventure Passport at your library and use it to explore our county…and 375 years of history.  The passport lists 10 sites.  Visit the site and get your passport “stamped” (stickers).  Enjoy the cool activity planned at each site.  Your passport allows you to get in free at those sites with admission fees.

 

After visiting  5 sites, you can bring your stamped passport back to your library and receive a coupon for free Bruster’s ice cream and a chance for the grand prize, a copy of Sally Walker’s book, Written in Bone.  Each additional site visited earns you an extra chance at the grand drawing.  One book will be given away at each branch.

Summer Reading Clubs run from June 8th until August 8th!

 

Babies Read-to-Me Club

(from birth to 2)

Start your baby loving books & reading by participating in our Read-to-Me club. Pick up an activity sheet and return every 3 weeks to collect a prize for your baby. Bring a completed sheet to receive a book for your little one.

 

Be Creative

(for Preschoolers to 5th graders)

Pick up your reading log, read and record your reading time on your log. Return every 3 weeks to collect a prize. Those who complete their log receive a book.

 

Express Yourself

(for Grades 6 and up)

Log your reading time and return every 3 weeks to earn a chance in a drawing for great prizes plus a drawing for fabulous grand prizes at the end of the program. Those who complete their log receive a book.

 

Summer Reading Club Participants will receive FREE TICKETS to Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and Baltimore Orioles!
