Dan Nokes is a comic book writer and artist that hails from Lusby, MD! He can often be found working on various comics, original art, graphic design, and other creative endeavors, in the vain hope that he can sustain some sort of living off of the fruits of his labor. Under the banner of his company, “21st Century Sandshark Studios” he has in the past 13 years put out such self-published efforts as The Reptile and Mister Amazing: the Origin, The Paranormals, and Impossible Space Tales of the Last Pit Stop. Naomi Cole is a librarian at the Leonardtown branch library, but she is actually secretly an amazing artist on the side! She has plans to one day publish a graphic novel called “Forbidden” which takes place in a world where magic…and certain relationships are completely forbidden. They’re three guys with entirely too many video games to play and entirely too little time to play them. Josh, Eliot and Stevo are three friends that on their podcast “Rather Be Playing” discuss topics in gaming culture, what video games they are currently playing, and other random topics from their lives. Local librarians Eric and Tess are just the balls of sunshine that you need in your life. In every episode of their podcast “Same Team Y’all” they talk about stuff they are currently loving, cool things that’s happening at their local library, and important life lessons that they’ve learned along the way. They make it their goal with every episode to put a little bit more positivity and peace out into the world because, at the end of the day, we’re all ultimately on the same team.
