SPARK: Storytime in the Park
Join the Mobile Library for an all-ages storytime in the park followed by bubbles, music, playtime, and art! The Mobile Library will be open for library services as well. SPARK takes place outdoors, 9:30 – 11 a.m., on Mondays in June and July. Participants should bring blankets or chairs for comfort. Please register once per family group for a reminder e-mail or inclement weather notice. In the event of inclement weather, the program may be moved to an indoor location. Registered participants will be notified via email at least one hour prior to the event. Updates will also be shared through our social media channels and on our website.

What else does the Mobile Library do?
In addition to these public stops and events, the Mobile Library and Mobile Library staff visit over 20 other community locations each month. These visits are not open to the general public, but serve a wide variety of St. Mary’s County community members. These include Boys and Girls Clubs, the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, senior living communities, Point of Change locations, public and private schools, several private day cares, and locations serving children on NAS Pax River, including the CDC and Youth Center.
