As of January 27, 2021, Lynda.com has become LinkedIn Learning. You can login to LinkedIn Learning with your library card number and PIN. Your learning history has migrated to LinkedIn Learning.
We are pleased to offer our library cardholders access to LinkedIn Learning’s library of instructional videos. Normally, using LinkedIn Learning requires a paid subscription, but as a St. Mary’s County Library cardholder you can access this content from any device with an internet connection simply by visiting the library’s LinkedIn Learning site and entering your library card number and password/PIN (usually the last four digits of your telephone number).
- You can only access LinkedIn Learning through the library’s LinkedIn Learning login page, and not by directly visiting the LinkedIn Learning homepage. Please bookmark accordingly.
- To use the LinkedIn Learning app, download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and click Sign in with Your Library Card. Use Library ID smrla (all lowercase), along with your library card number and PIN to login. Using the app, you can download courses for offline viewing. Downloading for offline viewing is not available through the web browser.
In LinkedIn Learning, you can manage your learning history, collections, saved courses, and Certificates of Completion. Many courses also feature exercise files, so if you’re watching a tutorial about Microsoft Excel you can follow the activity with downloadable, pre-populated Excel spreadsheet files.
