Baby Storytime
Designed for infants to sit with their grownups reading lap-sit stories & rhymes, followed by playtime with baby-safe toys. Babies and their grownups build early language, motor, and social skills while sharing joyful moments together and with new friends.
Charlotte Hall: Thursdays, 10 a.m.
Leonardtown: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.
Lexington Park: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.
Toddler Storytime
Designed for curious toddlers who are learning to walk, talk, and are eager to explore with their grownups. This active storytime builds vocabulary, coordination, confidence, and early social skills through short stories, songs, movement, rhymes, and playful activities. Siblings are welcome.
Charlotte Hall: Wednesdays, 10 a.m.
Leonardtown: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m.
Lexington Park: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.
Preschool Storytime
Designed for preschoolers who are ready to step up to longer stories and more complex activities. Children will build vocabulary, listening, early literacy, and other skills that help them feel ready for school while having fun with their grownups and friends. Siblings are welcome.

Saturday and All Together Storytime
Young children with their grownups build skills in early learning, literacy, and getting along with others through stories, rhymes, songs, and activities. Meet friends, discover new favorite books, and have fun. Please note: Storytime space is limited. Each storytime will be filled to capacity on a first-come, first served basis.

Leonardtown: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m.
Sensory Friendly Storytime
Designed for neurodiverse children and families who may find our other storytimes overwhelming. Enjoy books, songs, and activities in a gentle environment to build early literacy skills while developing confidence and connection. This storytime is adapted for sensory sensitivities with lower lights and volume, predictable routines, visual supports, and flexible participation.
Leonardtown: Wednesdays, September 9, October 14, November 18, and December 9; 10 a.m.
Lexington Park: Wednesdays, September 30, October 28, and November 25; 4 p.m.
