Reservation of Exhibit Space*
Reservation of exhibit space is not guaranteed by submission of this form. Potential exhibitors will be contacted by the Library.
Limitation of Liability*
Under no circumstances will St. Mary's County Library be liable for any lost profits or incidental, indirect, or consequential damages for loss of profits. The Library makes no representations of warranties regarding the number of people who will attend LexiCon.
Placement and Storage*
The location and placement of your table is at the sole discretion of the St. Mary's County Library. Assignment of space does not imply that similar space will be assigned for future events held by SMCL.
Exhibit Space Availability*
The exhibit space will be available for Exhibitors beginning at 11 a.m. on the morning of LexiCon. The exhibit space must be dismantled, cleaned up, and vacated by 4:30 p.m. on the afternoon of LexiCon. Exhibitors will not be permitted to store materials at the Library before or after the event. Each exhibitor will have one table to display their wares. The space below and/or behind this table can also act as storage for materials. No additional storage space will be provided. Tables are 72 inches long, 30 inches deep, and 28 inches off the floor. This surface area will be for displaying items for sale as well as promotional material. Promotional material must be provided by the vendor. Each exhibitor will also be provided with two plastic chairs to use throughout the event. Any additional display space must fit on or behind your table and cannot encroach on the space provided for other exhibitors. Taxes and Licenses*
The exhibitor is responsible for obtaining any licenses, permits, or other approvals required by federal, state, and local law applicable to its activities at LexiCon. The exhibitor is responsible for payment of any taxes, licensing fees, use fees in connection with any activities at the event.
Observance of Laws and Normal Standards of Decorum*
All exhibitors must abide by all federal, state, and local laws, codes, ordinances and rules, as well as the rules, regulations and policies of the St. Mary's County Library and LexiCon. Rules and behavior for the LexiCon Cosplay Contest also apply to exhibitors. The exhibitor will conduct itself at all times with normal standards of decorum. Exhibitors will construct and maintain their exhibits to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). All Fire and Safety laws must be strictly observed.
Sound*
The use of devices for sound or music is not permitted at any exhibit table.
