Think you have the cutest pet in St. Mary’s County? It’s time to prove it! We’re hosting a competition for the cutest cat, dog, and other pet! But the catch? They need to prove their cuteness in a literary themed costume! This is a library after all.
Dress up your fur, fluff, scale, or wing baby as your favorite book character, author, cover, or something else book related. When you are ready, take a great photo and submit it to us here! One entry photo per pet. Photos must be submitted by October 18. A team of Library staff will judge the photos in three categories: Cat, Dog, and Other Animal.
Winners will be announced during our first ever Howl-O-Ween event at Leonardtown Library on Saturday, October 24. Hope to see you there!
